Gold Famicom Disks Are High Class

I don’t usually like stuff that’s gold-colored, but these super-rare Famicom Disk System games look amazing. And they’ve probably got a price to match. Only an estimated 10,000 were made and a similar disk is going for $600 on eBay. They were sent out at random to some of the people who attended the Famicom Golf Tournament. I guess you didn’t even have to win to get an awesome prize. Sweet.

Street Fighter X Tekken Will Not Include Dan and Anna

Yoshiniri Ono says that the Street Fighter X Tekken character roster has been finalized and it looks like Dan Hibiki and Anna Williams will be sitting it out.

Ono explained in an interview with Siliconera that Dan won’t be included in the game because “he was killed by a Tekken character at Comic Con last year.”

As for Anna, Ono had this to say:

“As much as I personally wanted to have a cool Nina and Anna tag battle, the director was against putting Anna because we already had Nina in.” —Yoshiniri Ono

Street Fighter X Tekken is currently scheduled to launch on March 2, 2012 and it will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PlayStation Vita.
